Dana Design backpacks are now owned by Marmot. With this Marmot has increased it's backpack line as well as award winning features from the Dana Design.

Poor Rossignal

Quiksilver will acquire a money-losing operation next month. Rossignol reported a FY net loss of EUR 25 million. In the prior FY, it had a profit of EUR 7.2 million. The ski maker said it had also been affected by Its FY operating profit fell to EUR 9.5 million from EUR 24.5 million.

Oh well, there goes another great ski company to get chewed up.

We just wanted to say thanks to the many people who showed up at our grand opening of our retail store on Saturday, June 4th. It was alot of fun and a great success. We also want to thank everyone in the outdoor inustry who have supported us this far and in the future.

Rain Helps Grow BentGear 100%

Boy oh boy as it rained in Utah this Spring. What Spring?.

Maybe this helps explain's BentGear's 100% growth these past few months. However our Head Buyer sees it as something a'bit closer to home. Our Head Buyer explains that there are niche product's out there that other compaines ignore becasue they go with the brands that are totally safe, which is fine we still need those products. But if you can take a little risk and try a product that is good and different then why not. For instance the Vargo Titantuim stove and utensils, it's been in Backpacker a few times this year as the lightest and toughest gear out there.

We were willing to take a risk and is paying off with customer's seeing other product's that they may never get to see without doing some major research.
